Andrea Carteny received a MA in Humanities and a Ph.D. in History of Europe both from the Sapienza University of Rome. He is currently Associate Professor of “History of International Relation”s (SPS/06), teaches a master courses of “International History of Nationalisms and Identities” at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, and of “History of Euro-Asian Relationships” at Faculty of Political Sciences, Sociology and Communication Sciences Member of Doctoral College, PhD program in “History of Europe”. Since 2014 he is Rector’s Delegate for students’ international mobility at Sapienza. His research field is mainly focused in the concept of national identity, nationalism, ethnocentrism and on Euro Asian History and pan-Turanism. He has published several articles in peer reviewed scientific journal and two monographies. Over the years he has participated in various conferences and workshops, has been a visiting professor in many countries including Taiwan, Hungary, Portugal, Kosovo, Tunisia, Montenegro and Romania. |
