Karina Jędrzejowska


Short bio

·         PhD in Political Science from the University of Warsaw on the basis of dissertation "Sovereign Default in International Relations" (2011). Graduate of the University of Manchester (MsC Globalisation and Development, 2008), Warsaw School of Economics (MA Finance and Banking, 2007) and the Institute of International Relations (MA International Relations, 2005), University of Warsaw. Since April 2017 Governing Board Member and Treasurer of the World International Studies Committee (WISC).

·         Major research areas include: reform of international monetary system, international financial architecture and governance, sovereign debt restructuring, international financial markets, financial systems of developing countries, as well as development finance and theory.

·         Author of over 40 papers and book chapters in the field of International Finance, International Political Economy and Development Economics. Visiting scholar inter alia in: Kyongpook National University; University of Heidelberg; University of Oxford; University of Business and Technology, Prishtina, Kosovo;  University of Lubljana; Tamkang University, Taipei, Taiwan; Global College International, Kathmandu, Nepal; University of Nottingham; Freie Universität Berlin.

·         Member of the International Studies Association (ISA), Central and East European International Studies Association (CEEISA), European International Studies Association (EISA), Polish International Studies Association (PISA / PTSM), and Development Studies Association (DSA).
